{ Xena was a beautiful bouncy girl , full of energy and loved to play.
We imported her from
Northern Sunrise Kennel (Ukraine ).
She will be forever missed,
and always in our hearts. }
We Sadly lost Xena in July 2020
due to a severe case of PCD
(Canine Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia).
A hereditary genetic defect effecting
the upper and lower respiratory tract.
Since finding out about this condition
all off Snowshoes Malamutes
have been tested clear
or are hereditary clear.
We have decided to spread awareness of PCD
as its a new growing condition in malamutes that can be avoided with testing
and careful breeding.
